Questions
Frequently asked questions
Short answers about coins, prizes, age limits and support.
Do these games use real money?
No. Every game on TheQuiet is a free social game. Coins are fictional, cannot be purchased and have no cash value. There is no wagering and there are no prizes of monetary value.
Are there any prizes?
No. Nothing on this site can be won, redeemed or cashed out. Coins only keep score inside the games.
Are there in-app purchases?
No. There is no shop, no coin packs, no subscriptions and no payment form anywhere on the site.
Why is the site 19+?
The games contain simulated gambling, so we use the legal gambling age that applies in most Canadian provinces and territories: 19. Access is limited to adults aged 19 and over.
What happens when my coins run out?
Press "Reset to 1,000 coins" under any game. It is free, instant and unlimited.
Can a strategy change the results?
In Quiet 21 and Hush Poker your choices matter, just as they do at a real table, but the cards are still random. In Still Keno and Slow Reels nothing you do changes the outcome.
What is the break reminder?
An optional timer you can switch on at the bottom of the home page or any game. After 15, 30 or 60 minutes it shows a gentle note suggesting a pause. It is stored only in your browser.
Is the site available in French?
Yes. Use the FR button at the top of any page to read the same page in French.
Where can I get help with gambling?
Free, confidential support is listed at the bottom of every page, including ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600, 24/7), Jeu : aide et référence in Quebec (1-800-461-0140), the Responsible Gambling Council and GameSense.
TheQuiet offers free social casino games for entertainment only. There is no real-money play, no wagering, no in-app purchases and no prizes of monetary value.
